Position Summary:

As a Room Attendant with RS Worldwide LTD, you will play a vital role in ensuring our client hotels’ guests experience a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas while adhering to the hotel’s policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
Room Cleaning: Clean and service guest rooms to the hotel’s standard within the allocated time, ensuring all rooms are prepared for new arrivals or continued stays. Each Room Attendant is expected to achieve a productivity rate of 2.5 rooms per hour.
Bed Making and Linen Handling: Change bed linens, replace towels, restock bathroom supplies, and replenish guest room amenities.
Surface Cleaning: Dust and polish furniture, vacuum floors, and clean windows, mirrors, and other surfaces in guest rooms and corridors.
Bathroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and bathtubs.
Inventory Management: Report any shortages of cleaning supplies, amenities, and linens to the Housekeeping Supervisor. Ensure proper usage of equipment and cleaning materials.
Guest Interaction: Handle guest requests and complaints in a polite, efficient manner, always ensuring guest satisfaction.
Safety and Security: Adhere to safety protocols and ensure guest rooms are securely locked after cleaning. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Shift Flexibility: Start shifts early at 6:00 AM or 6:45 AM as scheduled. Participate in an evening shift once a week. Weekend work is required based on the rotational schedule, with flexibility needed as not all weekends will be off.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff and departments to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping or room attendant roles is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods. Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling moderate to heavy items.
Communication: Basic English language skills are required for understanding instructions and communicating with guests and team members.

Work Schedule:
Early Shifts: Start at 6:00 AM or 6:45 AM depending on the rota.
Evening Shifts: One evening shift per week.
Weekend Availability: Rotational weekend shifts required, with some weekends off as per the schedule.
